FAQs:

During the hypnosis process will I be asleep or will I know what is going on around me?

You are not asleep, however, because you are in a state of deep physical relaxation, externally your body appears to be sleeping. Hypnosis being a higher state of alertness where your senses are 7~8 times magnified, you are completely awake and aware of your surroundings and you hear everything.

In Hypnosis, will I do or say anything I don’t want to do or say ?

You cannot and will not ever be compelled to do or say anything under hypnosis that is in conflict with your personal, ethical standards and/or desires. Your mind has natural defenses against harmful suggestions. It will always protect itself. As your Hypnotist, it is my foremost intention to assist you in achieving your therapeutic goals.

Will I wake up afterward – What will happen if I don’t?

Yes, the majority of people who are hypnotized will come out of the state when brought out by the hypnotist. On occasion, someone will choose to remain in the hypnotic state because they either entered a particularly deep state or it feels so good they want to remain in hypnosis. They will drift into a natural sleep state and wake themselves up naturally.
